Seller has identified this as a jaguar .. Ooooo it came from South America and terrorized the natives. Hints it could be a leopard .. ok, last story was really a lie. Teeth are grooved which says it's a leopard .. as it's in Africa, I'm betting it's just a local leopard with a hyped up BS story. Muzzle looks a little dished which makes it look a bit like a jag ... but the teeth speak volumes for what it really is. Consensus from the pro's? http://www.ebay.com/itm/331798798957

Yeah .. that too. Should report the sale just for that attempt to really rip someone off.

  4. Shipping costs might be the actual cost of shipping plus the cost of paperwork/permits to legally ship the skull internationally. That could easily add up to a few hundred dollars although 700 is a bit steep regardless. Leopards, as far as I know, are CITES I, therefore I would imagine the paperwork and permits required to legally ship that skull would be quite extensive and would cost a pretty penny.

Nope. Seller was padding the shipping because (apparently) when you are a new seller, there is a limit on what you can sell. He wanted more than eBay would allow so he charged a ridiculous fee for shipping to make up for it. Ebay has pulled it anyway so he gets to keep it now. :)

  6. Damn. Right when I was getting ready to pay pal him the money. Oh well maybe he will sneak it up again long enough for me to but it

He's doing it because he is a new seller and eBay limits how much you can make. So .. he's jacking the price of the shipping to make up for it. Hell, write to him and play him. Tell him to lower the price and see what happens.

It's baaaack. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Leopard-Skull-Mint-/331811236260? At least now he is honestly calling it a leopard. Still mentions jaguars and pumas though. It is perfectly legal for him to sell it as he is in Africa. Someone in Canada can probably buy it legally too.
