I dont have time to go back and read 10 pages worth of posts so Im not sure what all the complaining is about but I have an idea. I do business with McKenzie and give them an A+ in customer relations and communication. They are super fast in shipping and never once in 20 years have I ever thought I was overcharged for shipping. It is what it is and its part of doing business.

You can buy my product White Mountain Insect Repellent from my website and I offer several choices with the shipping charge included, within the continental US. To establish the charge ( since USPS rates vary) which is built into the order I took the various combinations to the USPS ( how I ship it) and priced the shipping to CA and FL. Since I don't think I will sell a great deal to either States I took 10% off those prices and established an average price. I make a little on some and lose a little on others. Charge covers packing, cost to ship and trip to PO to ship it......nothing is free. If you don't want to pay shipping drive out and pick it up. See what that costs you.

If you think that cost to "drive out and pick up" is equitable to what consumers should expect to pay for a product's shipping, you lack basic understanding of global markets. e.g. You cannot travel to Epernay, FR for under $50, but can purchase in the states for that price a nice Champagne.

Heck, you can't get from the East Coast to the "Rockies" for less than the cost of shiping a 6 pack of Coors Lite from point of orgin. And visa versa, from the West to Boston for the cost of shipping a Boston Lager from POI. Can't do these things for the cost of a tank of gas. But stop and pick up a 6er for under $10US. How so?

BULK. Distribution is a key element, and McKenzie's acquisitions greatly improve its distribution. Yet...

  4. Mckenzie gets a huge discount from ups, but charges full amount for shipping.
