I need sum advice .I have a personal mount of my own I'm doin n the near future. I have a really nice set of 8x7 sheds and planning on using the shed skull plate out of McKenzie catalog . Question is how do u set your antlers correctly as far as angles ? I have sum idea on how I think they should b but this is a really nice elk and I've paid a pretty penny for a big cape and want it to look perfect as I can make it . Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated! !

Use the Van Dyke shed connectors. In my experience they are very easy to use and allow for the greatest amount of adjustment compared to others that are out there. As far as angles and how to set the antlers just make sure you don't set them up to high, or you won't have enough skin to reach the antler burr. Or back to far or down to low :) adjust the alters till they look good to you. Good luck
