I am mounting a bear that has one of its bottom teeth worn or broken in half and worn smooth. It's super yellow and about half the length of a normal lower k9. The customer said to replicate it if possible. He took the skull back and I don't have access to the tooth. I alreadh have the bear mounted with a jawset, but if I try to just grind the tooth down, I'm pretty sure the mohr jawsets like that are hollow on the teeth. Is there anything other than just casting a real tooth, grinding the one in the jawset down to nothign and replacing it with a ground down artificial tooth that would maybe be easier? Could I maybe grind it half way down and then fill it and shape it with epo seam and putty repair or something?
