    Is there cheek meat in bream ?

    yes sir, there sure is. almost all fish species that have that cheek pocket will have meat in them. small fish can be a pain to get it out through the tiny eye socket, and can be more easily accessed from the backside when cleaning that out sometimes.

    If you don't think there is, just mount it and watch how much it shrinks up and stinks! :D

    Bream, OK now I get it, never heard of a "break". Yes there is meat in there as Jimmy said. you need to scrape it all out. I use a small tool to scrape and a forceps to get it out.
