What a fun fish to paint!

    Got a old smallmouth mount from a friend to redo, changed out the head and fins and painted a smallmouth for the first time. When you don't have to duplicate a specific fish it's hard to get the color scheme wrong. Can't believe how many different variations smallmouth s have. What fun![​IMG]
     
  2. Nice save. Your fin junctures look nice and clean. Any before pictures? Those are always fun.

    No, I wish I had! Pretty much looked like somebody stepped on its head, eyes bugged out and most of the fins were trashed

    Outstanding Nokes.

    You're doing some great work! Excellent fin junctions except perhaps the pectoral fin junction. But still great job!

    Awesome job. I have to wonder about the shape of that caudal fin. It's quite a fork!
