  1. Excellent perch Tim! I appreciate the depth to your paint job. Many reproduction perch just look flat to me :(. Yours never do :D.

  2. An Arp original.

Messed around with a slightly altered molding technique for a swimming crayfish. I also set a timer for 10 minutes to see what sort of paint job I could come up with.

  7. Is that rainbow a mount, Mike? It sure looks like a live fish to me. I don't think this thread is for sharing pictures of live fish that we have caught.

Whoh, Mike K. I think thats a hybrid bottlebow trout, very rare.

  9. My third time painting a fish... Customer wanted it skin mounted so someone else mounted it and I did the finish.... I'm not a fish person but I enjoy learning. It is a 53lb striper from Cordell Hull lake in TN.

How long is that striped bass?

  11. I can't remember. I know he said it took the biggest form Mckenzie carries. Again I just painted it so I never thought to check. I do know it weighed 53lbs.

Well, it's close right?! This was painted using some of the techniques used in Rick Krane's early Rainbow Trout reproduction dvd.
