I took in this 36" Lake trout the other day, friend of the family etc. It was caught up in Canada and mounted back in the late 60's.. The body and skin are in good shape, but the fins are all beat and will need to be replaced, I plan to replicate them.. The tail is gone, so I'll have to find a replica.. So any suggestions before I start this project would be helpful, things to lookout for? I haven't restored anything this bad before..
