Good morning everyone. First off, I work for H&H Fur Dressing, Inc. out of Reed City, MI. Some of you may know or heard of the owner of H&H, Mark Marlette. A few months back, Mark started a Blog on our website to educate the public about what processes your skins go through not only when they get to the tannery but, as soon as the heart stops beating. There is a lot of information on decomposition, bacteria, tannable and non-tannable proteins as well as physics. Also, if this belongs in a different section on here, please let me know. The Blog is still in its early stages and there are still more parts that are going to be addressed over time.

The Blog is very informative and eye opening to a lot of things related in the taxidermy/tanning world. I will attach the website on this post in case anyone was curious or had some free time to see what it is all about.

    Thank you,

    Mike
