    Fellow ordered some eyes from me for an "alligator gar"head. Seemed enthused. Here is the end result. Eye is backwards, and the final product, well…….no comment.

    I suppose if he has as many gar heads as he claims, he could make a fortune on Ebay………as long as they were sold as "vintage." LOL

    Well he's obviously not a taxidermist. Is he? Looks like he just dried the head and glued the eye on. Eeeeeew!

    This is how I got my start in Taxidermy, My late Uncle on my Mothers side, had many pike and bass heads on his wall,he salted and dried the heads in the sun, shellaced them, popped in the eyes and glued them to panels....about 3 months later, I showed him my full size Striped Bass, he was dumbfounded...how could a 12year old mount a whole fish...I can still see his face and my ear to ear grin
