spider question

    what do to mean by drying? does it mean just taking the spider out of the jar and letting it air dry or is there something more detailed to "drying"? i was thinking about useing it in a desert scene maybe can i still do that if i put him in the jar? and what is a riker mount box? i'm just getting into taxidermy so i dont know very much just what i can find from the internet, this forum has really helped me a lot

    I done one for a museum down here like Tom said matter of fact hes the one who told me how worked out great

    Try a Google search for the Riker Mount boxes. One site is at http://www.rikermounts.net/ It's a special box with a glass top so you can see the bug up close without poking at it. Makes the spider look something like this.
