We are going to start tanning are own hides, need some advise on fleshing machines. What are some of the advantages of the Dakota 5 over the 4? Or if anyone has any other advice on a different fleshing machine I'm all ears lol. Thanks guys.

I just bought a new 5 and its unreal, Best investment ever. My only recommendation with it is if you have access to a half horse 1725rpm motor you can save some money and buy it without the motor. The motor that came with mine i use them everyday

I have the Dakota V and works great, I also have used the Dakota plus, All stainless and the settings are much easier.

I have a Dakota Pro. No scraps getting caught on the pulley and belt like the Dakota 5 will do.
