Hello friends, sorry if this is not the right section, I wasn't sure where to ask this.
Is it legal to own a giraffe skin rug in Kentucky? I have been trying to search for hours but have come up with no real info. Thank you.

    Hello guys!
Do you know where I could find such information on different animals? For sure it varies from state to state and from country to country. Would be nice to have a full list. Unfortunately I couldn't find it.

Also why not just call your State Wildlife office and ask them. Good luck...JL

I have one more question, is there a place where I could post pictures of what I have an get like a rough estimate of what it could be worth? Would making a thread on this site be good or what? I'm not even sure if there are people who can do this, I am VERY new to all of this. What I have isn't as common as deer shoulder mounts or bear skin rugs, and for that I'm not sure if people could make a real guess on value of the item.

Agee, there's a category on this forum "For Sale" items. To load a picture, however, you'll have to use a conversion program such as Photobucket. As far as a market, that's another thing. In the world of today when taking of African trophies is not politically correct and the taking of non-traditional trophies such as giraffe, it is even moreso. Sadly, your market is going to be VERY VERY limited. Few people want trophies that they didn't participate in and unless you can find someone fitting that special and limited niche, I would assume you're going to have some difficult.
