Do any of y'all have a good elk paint schedule. Thanks
I don't have any set in stone schedule but rather paint it to match my references and the cape. The colors in the cape help to guide the intensity of colors. Start with light colors and work towards the dark. Flesh tones, browns, Paynes grey and if needed very little black.
I use flesh, cream , dark gold, rich brown, then a mixture of brown with a little black.
I've gotten lazy in my old age. I do use a bit of burnt umber on the ears if necessary but as for the rest, Bill Yox was a genius when he designed his namesake recipe paint. I'm finding that to be one of the best for noses and eyelids.
