Need help with first Bongo. Ears seem to have been eatin up by insects. Will liners be best for this and whose liners do yall use? Thanks!

i am sure you will get several opinions ..either one liners or bondo will work If it was mine since I am a bondo ear guy I would glue some super thin leather over the damaged area ... You can probley get the leather you need by shaving some pieces somewhere off the skin... after the damage is covered use bondo resin mix in the ears as normal

Not sure about how it will work on a Bongo. years ago I submitted a tip that got published in Breakthrough. Take a USED Dryer Fabric Softener sheet, and glue it to the inside of the ear to cover those holes. Then put your liner on and when you paint, it will have a decent texture and blend in. I Used that idea for small ear rips though,,,not sure about those holes.

I used Jaw Juice so it remained a little flexible, btw.
