Carved rattlesnake skin mount .....

    Carved rattlesnake "skin mount" ...... all wood. I burned in every scale. Getting ready to paint it.

    Interesting piece! I like the blend of skin with wood mount, very rustic.

    There is no skin. It is just one piece of wood that is carved to look like skin.

    I used the Pat Kennedy wood burning tips with my Colwood Super Pro II. Back in 1997 I bought the snake scale and fish scale wood burning tips. I have only done one fish wood carving. Slowly working on another one right now.

  15. Kerby, OK on the snake scale tip. I guess I have missed that one. Did not know Kennedy had that. I will need to go and look at that one. Really looks good. Thanks for the information Kerby.
