Got a musky in yesterday and am going to skin him out today I use the powder fish tan that you mix with water and have used that for all my fish. but never did a musky so should I degrease it in a dawn soap bath for a few hrs. before I put it in the tan? or how long is a good soak time. . also guy also wants the real head

question #2 I usually store my fish flat on a piece of wood to keep them from buckling but freezer is filling up with deer and I was wondering if anyone ever rolls fish skin up? im always afraid scales will pop especially when it freezes

I used to skin fish and then just throw them in a plastic bag and then in the freezer. Unless you're doing a crappie. But those musky skins are pretty tough.
