Cardinal question

    We had a male Cardinal bounce off our window and die would it be legal to mount ( freeze dry ) ?

    Don't even have a feather from it on your work bench or shop floor.

    Our government really needs to get with the times on all these stupid laws that they waste resources and our tax dollars on!!

  7. You could donate it to a local institution with a zoology museum. Many museums (including mine) work off of salvage only now so donations like that are invaluable to them.

    never waste wildlife! try to donate it as mentioned above
  10. Any public school would be happy to have it.

    Many many years ago, I was able to get permits from the Feds for such birds. I would mount them and donate to the local public library.
    I had an open letter from the library and finally had bugged the lady at the Fed office, she had given me an open letter for the bird goign to schools or libraries.
    But that was 30 years plus years ago.
