Hello everyone. I got 2 normal sheep skins that need to be cleaned. They are older smaller sheep, already tanned. Just need to be cleaned. What would be the best way? Just soak in tide? Any other ideas or recommendations? Thank you so much in advance

I wash my hides and capes in water, a little 'Dawn', and a cap full of show horse shampoo that I buy from a livestock supple store. The horse shampoo gives a little 'sheen' to the hair.
