Hey guys, I'm doing my first gator and I was wanting to know what the best way to do the legs on a swimming 8ft gator. Ive heard using the legs on the commercial form can be difficult. Is an 8ft gator to big to do the vermiculite method? Also one more question... what is yalls preferred method to attach gators to a habitat base?... Square stock, all-thread?

    Thanks for any help!

I am not a fan of stuffing the legs with vermiculite ..... unless you like the stuffed look. There is muscle groups that need to be defined. Carving foam will allow you to do this. I am a fan of square rods for attachment.
