I do not do to many elk shoulder mounts and my client want a 45 degree turn. I would rather not modify the form. The only two forms I can find are Trufitt and Researh mannikins.

Does anyone have preference? or anyone have experience with either?

I have used both Mike Frazier's and Bill Lancaster's forms from Research mannikins. I have used them on both Roosevelt and American (Rocky Mountain) elk. The Mike Frazier ones are somewhat old school and require a little more work in the eye area. The Bill Lancaster forms muzzles are way to skinny for the elk I have done. Major muzzle alteration was done to get it the way I needed it to be. The best form I ever used is the one I recently tried from Headquarters Supply. It was just a sneak slight turn though.

  3. What size do you need. Dave Ferguson has one that is a 12x33 I believe

+1 on the Ferguson 45 degree. Also has a great set of ear liners that set nicely to it. He also has several other forms that Trufitt and research doesn't carry.
