nice mount, I like that pose.
Hello all. I will join Cheri and post this wild Kansas pheasant.I think they are one of my favorite birds to hunt and mount. Enjoy, Paul.
Awesome mount! I love looking at everybody's work, especially the pheasants.
Hi guys, from me, this ringneck pheasant comes with winter scene habitat.
Have a nice week. Florian
Yeah, i forgot to put the pictures...
Now that is one totally awesome pheasant!! Did you build your own habitat?
Yes, It's all my work..old barn wood, foam for base, white filler and glue mix for under snow and artif.snow on top. That's all.
I figured that is what you did for the base, but how did you do the snow/ice on the little tree?
It's a kind of dense hairy grass, so I sprayed glue on, dropped snow on top of it, than sprayed glue again, snow, glue and finally sparkling snowflakes.
Ok, thankyou for telling me, I am going to try it.
Awesome mount! I love your work, especially this one.
Here's my son's first pheasant that he got on our State-sponsored youth day. It is my first mount in about 12+ years, and wasn't the best specimen to work on, but at least it looks like a pheasant! Thanks to everyone for the inspiration, knowledge, and great work!
Let's try again!!
It's hard to work when you have the stomach flu... :-\
