Hello all. Here is a wild shot mandarin shot in east Texas. A customer was wood duck hunting and when it slowed down this trophy came in. My first mandarin to mount. This was a fun project.

 

That's really cool Paul. I think I read in a DU magazine that there have a few small flocks reported up and down the west coast. Fugitives from breeders.

 

there is a small non migrating breeding flock in the sw twin city metro area.....started by a guy putting eggs in woody houses
