Hey jay...the last fall sage I got from you ,I cut out the air sacs and sewed up the holes...then cut new slits lower down on the chest where the black tips end...then put large air sacs in lower on front of neck....crow tail feathers, stripped down until just below the tip made for some pretty good streamers...will get a pic for you

  12. Nice mount birdstuffer! I have a crow I need to mount but haven't seen a pose that I like. I really like the first crow you have pictured, and plan on doing mine like it. Hopefully it turns out as good as yours!

  13. Thanks Simms! They are fun to do!

Cheri, thats one of the best gadwall "displays" that Ive seen.....makes an ugly duck look good.....thanks for "hosting" the no host thread too!...lol

  17. Thanks Byrdman.I don't consider myself a host of this thread...I just started it is all.:)

  18. Nice birds Cheri :)

Here's a woodpecker mounted for an Ontario park visitor centre. It was definitely a different type of challenge than mounting a duck.

  19. I'll bet it was hard to mount. Did you use the original bill or did you cast one?

  20. Hi Simms Creek, I cleaned out the original skull and used it ;)
