reattaching a split elk skull cap

    I'm looking for some ideas on how to put a split elk skull back together. I did a search and just not finding to many ways on how to do this. if you Guys/Gals have methods that you use could you please pass on some of them on to me. Thank you

    Drill corresponding holes on both sides of split and tie wire the two sides together, fill cavity with reinforced bondo. I put epoxy on each side and hold it in place till is kicks prior to wiring.
     

  3. Pretty much same method here. I drill a few extra holes and set antlers upside down. cover holes with duct tape and pour bondo, self levels and like the extra support in the pre-drilled holes.

    X4 but I think the epoxy holds way better than bondo,health reasons alone should steer all taxidermist away from this stuff.
