Simms Creek, Thanks and the poster is a relic, I've had it there for years, back when I started this business, they sent it to me. I'm not sure you can get em unless you find someone with one stashed.

  2. Looks good 3 Bears!I just did one similar to that yesterday too!

Well I've been at this for a little more than 3 years now and believe it or not, even though I'm in Louisiana, I've never had a customer ask for a Standing Woodduck. Well I had one come in this year. I don't do standing birds much at all really, so I figured I better practice on one of the gifted Woodducks I got this year first. Boy am I glad I did.

To those of you that can do a great Standing Woodduck...I applaud you! They're by FAR the hardest mount I've done to date! I have 2 more practice birds to learn on before I do the Customers, and I must say I'm not looking forward to it.

Mounted up last Saturday. Thanks for all for the help with the Crest issues I was having. Not perfect but turned a whole lot better than the others I have done.

Brook....a little trick to standing woodies is wrap or cut down your body narrow....then you can lightly fill flanks as you sew it up to get more freedom with flank "bars" and no fighting them...

First SS body I used was on that Hoodie. Very impressed his tutorial is worth the time to watch. Great bodies and Technics learned and very well taught IMO.
