Great work everyone. Thanks for sharing.
Brooke it has been fun watching your work the past few years and the strides you have made...good work....keep it up !
Just mounted Mandarin this week, added to Woody.
Love those birds. Nice piece!
First attempt at a woodcock. Primaries will be curled to add motion
Pintail up and drying this week
Oh wow!! Nice job Brooke!!
Thanks Nate. It's been over 2 years since I did a Hooded. I was definitely stressing. Hope he dries well.
good looking mount brook ;D
I don't think you could have done a better job on him. he should dry just the way he looks now.
Thanks guys! I did this one yesterday and though it's not as nice a bird and still needs some grooming, the crest turned out way better. I found that taxiing the skin DOWN was the ticket to get the top line nice and crisp. On the other I kept taxiing up and never did get the line right and the feathers kinda crisscrossed. I need to do a few more.
My first attempt at a fantail peacock. (I posted in the old thread first. oops)
Holy cow! How'd you do that?
I made a detachable tail and reinforced the heck out of it.
Wow Lois that is awesome! How are you going to keep it from sagging?
