2017 What's on Your Workbench

    Black Tempera in the rock mix and after it dries I do a black tempera wash. Once completely dry I apply a generous amount of Triple-Thick Gloss.
     
  2. What are the pheasant color mutations that gave you those colors? Or are they just ringnecks crossed with melanistic? Ringneck male and melanistic female?

    No melanistic or ringnecked pheasant just other true pheasants (st x bi x ve...)

    Congrats on your first king, Glass Eye! He looks great --here's hoping you can work on many more in the future (be they another customer's or yours)

    Awesome woody... that white vertical bar is next to impossible to get to come out that clean. Everything's perfect.

    Thanks guys. Yes it's scotch tape, I use it so I can see the bars on the pocket feathers.

    No problem. Dab the tape on your jeans before putting it on the feathers.
