    #7 for me, and the first from my Scotland hunt. The body was a bit too long, but still learning a lot on each one. Was crazy weird working with a thinner skinned bird after mounting a few divers and sea ducks.

    Thanks, now I just need to figure out eyes.....and 14786 other things in two weeks before I do a comp bird. :)

    Juvenile Allen's hummingbird and belted kingfisher for a local children's museum. The hummer was a royal pain, I barely pulled it off. It had been in the freezer for 10 years, was half rotten and losing feathers like crazy, AND its bill was broken. Talk about stress!

    I've got a neck banded snow that I killed a few years back (before I started taxidermy) and wanted it like this but needless to say that's not how I got it back. Ever since then I've been looking for the right goose to do it with
