Form suggestions

    My wife shot her first buck. Few days ago I asked about the 64d form my taxidermist recommended but she didn't like it . So asking for some input on some forms that would look good for her buck. It is a six pointer. Thank you.

    IMO, she needs to look at finished mounts and pick out a few that she likes. Work with your taxidermist and go from there. Don't seem to be any issues with the cape or antlers that would dictate which way to turn it. Think about where you are going to display it in your home.

    Congrats to your wife on her first buck! There are a lot of considerations when getting a mount done. What pose you like, where the mount is going in the house or even if it is going in the house, among others. IMO, I wouldn't be asking about which form to go with, but rather, what pose to go with. The form should be up to the taxidermist, the pose up to the customer.
