   I guess I could have washed them more after the tan before the oil? The coyotes done smell bad at all just a bit like the oil I used - any solid tips to make furs smell nice and fresh?

   I wash every hide before it gets mounted. Pert plus works very well, low ph with conditioner, smells great.

   The smell of the tanning oils will dissipate after a few days to a week of drying.
