Awesome Marc as always!
A buddies son's first duck shot mid-season in Colorado.
Brett that mallard is a gorgeous mount what a cool specimen too.
Brooke your mallard is amazing. The head looks anatomically perfect and the chest/belly so smoothe.great job
Brett ...wings on that pintail are killer!
Hello Brooke. Nice job on your mounts. Keep up the good work. You have come a long way. Your anatomy is really getting a lot better.
Brooke your birds look great!Did you buy that rock for the Goldeneyes? It's cool!
Paul thanks. Still a long way to go.
Cheri, those GoldenEye have a pretty good story. They were both in our old Taxidermists freezer when he died. They were shot by the same person, the hen in 2005 and the Drake in 2013. They were supposed to be mounted by him, but when he passed, it fell to me. I wasn't comfortable doing them until this year. Both were severely freezer burned, nasty old ducks. Randy built the rock and I mounted the ducks and we are giving it to the guy (our neighbor) for his birthday gift. The Rock is hollow on the backside so it can hide valuables, the space is large enough for a handgun too. I mean....Who's gonna steal a duck mount?
DANG, Brooke! The goldeneye mount is beautiful (as is the pintail), but knowing the full story (particularly the hen...12 years in the freezer!) makes it that much more impressive. Excellent work as always and thanks for sharing c:
Buddy wanted me to leave room to add a few more later on, but his first 2 birds
That's sweet Fowlweather
and the redhead that goes with the bluebill
ello Barry. How are things with you? I love the 2 mounts and the action. Well done my friend, Paul.
