help with pedestal mount with leg

    just mounted up my first pedastal, did the form myself. just finished mounting it and im not sure the best (seemless) way to finish off the leg. it has a leg that comes off the sholder a bit, what method do you guys use to close up the bottom of the leg

    If I am understanding your question correctly i simply pull the hide down and around the area where the leg stops and cut V's back almost to where the leg ends so when i fasten the hide it is a smooth transition from the front to the back of the form. Go slowly so you don't take too much. You can make a couple of single cuts and then overlap to get and idea how much hide to remove with a V cut.

    I usually finish it with the same material I use on the back of the form.
