I'm doing a heron for an environmental education center, with the appropriate state and federal salvage permits. I did one previously with a wrapped body, but was thinking it would be a bit more sturdy with a solid form, but haven't been able to find any supplier. It's a one-shot deal so I don't want to bother casting a body. Anyone know of anyone selling a heron form? I see a sandhill crane form, but not sure that would work.

  2. I see research manikins has one available.

Good luck, sounds like a fun project.

Ah, the one catalogue I don't have! Thanks much. Will have to check size though.
