I am fnishing my first flehmen deer mouth and it's bottom lip came smooth. I have tried to look at pictures to see if it should be smooth but can't tell. Should I tecture it or leave it smooth? Thanks!

You should have used the bottom lip skin over the smooth part. If it is already mounted, then just rebuild the bottom lip with epoxy and/or mod podge. If you don't have the Joe Meder flehmen video from McKenzie you might want to get it.

I am not very familiar with the flehmen mount but I do not think I would have put the bottom skin over the mouth piece. I did not and it looks right. I will just have to make it work. Thanks!

  7. The directions that come with the mouth set shows the bottom lip skin being used. Every one I've done I've used the lip skin on. Just rebuild it as everyone has suggested.
