    2017 TTAI Competition & Convention Killeen Civic & Conference Center
    Date: 22 Jun 2017 7:00 AM EDT

    The 2017 Texas Taxidermy Association annual competition and convention is being held in Killeen, TX this year. Registraiton provides members with access to great seminars and our vendors. The TTAI provides some of the best judges and our competition is second to none. We look forward to seeing you!

    ***New this year - one type and one fee for registration. Standard Registration is $65.00. ***

    You must be a member to register and attend the convention.

    Three Registration Options

    Register and pay all fees at least 2 weeks before the show and avoid waiting in line. Your name badge and convention packet will be waiting for you.

    Register and pay all fees online using computer or phone before you get to the Registration desk. You will have access to a shorter line that moves more quickly.

    Register and pay at the convention. TTAI volunteers are happy to help. Sometimes the lines are long.

    Please be sure you renew your membership (unless you are a lifetime member) when you sign up for the convention. Both registration and active membership are required to attend
    the convention.

    Refund Notice: The deadline for refund of any convention or competition fees is 2 weeks prior to the start date of the convention. After that deadline the TTAI is not able to refund ANY fees.

    Whoohooo can't wait! For anyone out there reading this that hasn't attended a Texas Show, you're missing out! These guys have it together, great organization and competition. If you can get down there do it!!!

    Jerry's Habitat seminars are awesome, although messy;D, but you'll learn alot and have a blast. Everytime I throw dirt on a habitat I say.."We're having fun now!!!"

    I am a little concerned that Ben isn't mounting a Mule deer this year...WTH?:D

    Extremely excited to see what Newport will bring, and what JK will have to say about it. Looking forward to seeing, hearing and being a part again this year. Hope lots of out of staters will come and give the Texas boys a run for this money:-*

    We love to have out of staters come to our show, last year we had four state champions from out of state LA, OK, CO and AZ! Our state champion buckles have become one of the most sought after trophies in the industry.

    42 hrs of seminars presented by state , national , North American and world champion taxidermists. Friday night masters gamehead and bird live mounting challenge. As many as 10 master taxidermist mounting at the same time in an open room where you can watch , pick their brains and ask questions to learn all the tricks of the trade.

    John, from what I understand it's game heads and birds. 2 categories combined.
    At least that's what I have been told. Someone in the know please correct me if I am wrong.

    Killeen is always a great show. Perfect location..... Should be another good one..

    For my Saturday seminar, Mckenzies will be furnishing a bunch of my conventional bobcat heads and eyes. If you want to do a different head or predator just bring it with some eyes and we'll do that too. See ya there !

    I am so excited to ge to attend this year!! This will be my first time. I am very much looking forward to getting to meet and talk with some great taxidermists. Brian I am also really looking forward to your seminar, I have been pretty much teaching myself off of your tutorials.

    You're gonna love the Texas show ! Lots of great people there ! But waaaaayyyyyy too warm for me that time of year. Lol ! But I'll be there !
