    Spencer nailed it. Muscovy Mallard. Came out to be a beautiful bird. I bet there were a lot of rejects for every nice bird. Hayward Cloud mounted this bird. It's nicely done as all of his are. Striking bird. I never thought anything bred with a Muscovy could look decent. It had size and tail from a Muscovy.

    A wild muscovy is actually a gorgeous bird, closely related to a wood duck. It's just that most of the ones we see are those domesticated monstrosities.

    If we saw them like this more often . . .
