How do u get pond dye out of feathers??

    Ive gotten the majority out but having a little trouble getting the rest out

    If your talking about the rust coloured stains( mineral stains) on the chest , you can use oxalic acid to get rid of them. Mix some of the crystals with water to make a thin past then brush it on the stained area and watch the stains disappear. You can do this before you skin the bird out.

    Winks you can get it at Walmart in the cleaning section. It's for removing rust stains from hard water .
