Paying Estimated Taxes.......

    Yep, your money held without interest being paid...but they are getting a sh it load of money payed to them from depositing your 'estimated' income tax.

    We don't pay our taxes the customers do.

    Been there, done that. As long as you pay in as much as you owed in taxes last year you are safe but, it will suck more if you have to cough up again on 15 April because you didn't pay in enough. I never got a refund when I was self employed. Any overpayments were applied to the next estimated payments.

    Yep, and this is the week. BUT, I'd rather pay them now than later. One year we had to pay $9000 by April 15, and it hurt...a lot!!!!

    Jerry you are lucky, I haven't had a client yet that was willing to write that check and mail it to the IRS or the NCDOR !!!

    Our taxes are all incorporated in our pricing. It's not luck .

    I understand what you are saying and ours are also, but it still sucks to make that payment.
