Wood Carving in Progress of Mountain Lion & Bristlecone Pine tree by Miller

    Though I'd throw this one in too, It's a wood carving on a slab of burled Maple I'm currently working on.

    Really cool!.....I have a slab of hardwood my wife and I thought would make a nice table top but Im trying to convince her to let me try my hand at relief carving something into it. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of rotary carver are you using? Always wanted to invest in a Foredom but haven't jumped off that bridge yet?

    Foredom! Best by far, and tons of power! also use many carving hand chisels as well. Good Luck!
