    Looks really good from the pic. I have a question and not to be taken as a critique by any means. In my opinion part of the many reasons to use an artificial head is the ability to paint hem before install, also the lack of shrinkage and the fact you know there's no meat in there . . . Why didn't you pre-paint the bill? Grooming looks really good, bird looks balanced, wings look even and side pockets are nice and smooth (at least the left side is) ; ) Very nice bird in my opinion.

    I also realized non of my birds done while at school were painted---I wondered the same thing,but Troy never went into painting,thus non of the birds are painted

    So the plan is too paint prior to putting bird together---I realized this before I posted

    I am currently researching airbrush options,and the possibility of use of pan pastels
