I was talking to a friend about hide paste. He buys it by the gallon and doesn't use that much. I am part time and use about 20 gallons a year. I was just curious how much hide paste do each of you use a year.

I don't know exactly how much I use as I mix up another batch when I need to. I do keep what I need on hand though. I would guess 15 gallons of my mixture and a 1 or 2 gallons of pro 1. The only thing that doesn't get complete glue coverage in my shop is birds.

All depends on your work load. I get about 8 deer shoulder to a gallon.

Yeah I would say I get about 10 deer per gallon

I use a very heavy layer of hide paste because I like to use it to help scuplt in the muscle details. Get 6 or so deerheads on average from a gallon.

I use Roman 555 with about a pound of Coombs dry hide paste mixed in per gallon.
