exotic parrots

    When mounting an exotic parrot do you still wash and degrease the same as waterfowl, Tumble and dry as well?
  2. yes...but there shouldn't be lot of grease on it.:)

    Yes if it's a hard-feathered parrot like a macaw, Amazon, conure, or basically any parrots that aren't cockatoos.
    I would recommend that you don't wash large cockatoos unless you absolutely have to. It can be done, but their feathers are extremely fragile and hard to groom back together once they've split apart.
    Also, sometimes parrots can be enormously fat. It comes off pretty easily, but you will have to wash and degrease it just like a duck if you get one like that.
