Iowa seminars are set for 2018!

    March 23-25. 7 seminars from elite artists plus a new venue. Get bored of shop talk, try your luck at the tables and slots at the casino. Best steakhouse in the Midwest "Rubes" 3 miles away. Award winning spa, pool, and Iowa hospitality at its best. Hope to meet new friends there.

    Clint Rickey- whitetail
    Mike Nakielski- waterfowl
    Cole Cruickshank-fish
    Bill Neuman-game heads and mammals
    Todd Kranau- hide prep for competition
    Cory Caruthers- upland birds
    Daniel Meng- whatever he chooses!

    Meskwaki casino and convention center. Rooms $69 Thursday and $89 Friday and Saturday.

    Oh and also, these guys will be competing in the Joe Meder master of masters category too. Yes, Joe will be there to judge his category along with masters competitors and enjoy the fun.

    3bears I'm pretty sure that the MN show is the same weekend as ours, that's what they said last year when I attended that show...

    It is unfortunate our show is the same date as 3 of our neighbors... we truly hope all shows that weekend are successful.

    Update on the seminar topics.

    Daniel Meng’s seminar will be focusing on bobcats. Learn cat anatomy from a world champion.

    Todd Kranau’s seminar with be an interactive event on maintaining a successful taxidermy business. There will be packets to fill out that account for ALL the numbers. Not just form, tanning, eyes, etc. He will go in depth how to account for depreciation of assets, cost of living, taxes. This will really help people understand everything that goes into running a business or running yourself into the ground. Come with questions for Todd, he is eager to help.
