Going to try the Wildlife Gallery for the first time for My deer heads. What do you guys with experience with them recommend. Alum Tan or the Synthetic Tan. The capes Will be wet tanned.

I 've used them for 20 plus years and Synthetic Tan. No issues. Just an FYI they have a RUSH service 30-45 days from the soak date. 50% more but worth it to me. Get'm in and get'm out and get paid!

I've used the synthetic tan for the last 10-12 years. No issues with stretch when they get back. Hopefully they can get back on track this year with the turnaround times.

I've used them for 17yrs. Synthetic tam for me. They do a good job. Had them do a bunch of alligators with the head attached to the hides for me. They were done in a barrel hand agitated. Had no scale lose and the color was fantastic. I did not even paint the gators. Just put a little high light on the scoots and sprayed clear on them.

Without paying for Rush service, how long do they take?

Depends on the time of year you send them. They're an easy bunch to talk to . You can call them and they will help any way they can. They are better to tell you their turnaround times than I am I would be guessing and that's not fair to you or them. Great folks all the way around.

Stretch wise i always prep my capes and bag them in the frig to sweat up over night and I measure the neck off the finished cape rather than when it's green. Just works better for me.

I have used them for 10 years! Alum tan only for me! Stretch is unbelievable! I had a few synthetic done, so, have some thing to compare to! Better stretch with Alum! It is what I prefer!

Thanks for the reply guys. I am still not sure what route to go but I guess I can ponder on it some more until I ship it out Monday.
