Jimmy Rimrock Yeah, they come to snuff the rooster

I have been using a Quebec Lite for a little over 10 years. It works well but has a "wiggle" in it. A slight vibration that translates into an uneven cut, leaving waves/ridges. it reduces if I tighten the belt by putting pressure on the motor. the bearings get oiled, the blade is decent. Save for attempting to adjust the blade to center by a runout indicator, is there any mods that will smooth this thing out?

No luck in the archives/search or Gerard directly.

thanks for your time and go easy on the Turkey

  2. Check your pulley alignment, That was the problem on my machine

  3. Might need to replace your bearings, mine has the brass bushings. Gerry passed away awhile back. RIP
