Can you guys tell me how or post some pics of how you tag your birds when you get them in the shop and throughout the process. I need to get my tagging system figured out so I dont get any fines.
    Thanks,

George The older I get, the better I was.

Use Tyvek tags and Sharpie markers.

Many states add other requirements but the Feds have explicit rules in the 50 series CFR's. A bird must be tagged

    Name
    Full Address
    Species and Number taken
    Date of Harvest
    Signature of Hunter

On the back of the tag, I put the work order number and a written or drawn pose of the way the bird is to be mounted.

This tag must be attached to the bird as soon as you check it in and must be tagged when the customer picks it up. You MAY remove the tag during the taxidermist process.
