Thaw in a pickle and salt???

    So I thawed a ram in a pickle and then fleshed. It is currently in salt before hanging to dry. Is it necessary to salt after fleshing being it was thawed in a pickle or could I flesh and let dry until I am ready to pickle, tan & mount??? The hide was pickled pretty good during the fleshing process. It was left in the pickle for about 24 hours before fleshing.
