That would be nice to go to a show like that where you could actually attend every seminar if you wanted to. I have only been to two shows and both times they had two different seminars going on at the same time so you had to choose which you wanted to see.

Unfortunately, we have a vendor scratch. Dan Rinehart and his companies will not be attending shows this season. That also means there will be no Starfish award at our show.

Happy to have Wolf River Tannery from Wisconsin joining us. Bring hides and pick up hides at the show.

UPDATE on the Matuska Competitor awards: This is for every state show moving forward, but wanted to let our show attendees know the changes in the award that our pre-show didn't have.

ATTN: Due to an unexpected family obligation, Cory Caruthers had to unfortunately cancel his seminar with us for our show, however World Champion Jonathan Wright agreed to come fill in and do the game bird seminar. This helps ensure us keeping a top notch line up this year, the 2 best bird taxidermists in the world will be there to help you get better! We are down to only several weeks before our competition and can't wait to see what folks bring.

Make sure you send in you pre-registration this week to save money. All 80 rooms are booked for ITA block. We booked 42 rooms last year. Still rooms open at close locations. This show is shaping up to be huge, and very affordable way to improve your skills with our seminar lineup.

They opened up 15 more rooms for the show. So if you had to book elsewhere you might be able to get a room at the venue. 148 pieces registered so far.

So is this convention open to the public or do you have to be a member of the Iowa Taxidermy Association? I'm just learning fish taxidermy and would like to go to the crappie seminar and see all of the entries of Taxidermy.
