Don't know if this is the right place to post this question but I have some Aves Fix-It that is hardened just from sitting around. It is still in it's 2 part stage in their own containers but the two parts have hardened somewhat. I have a deer antler tine to rebuild and was wondering if there is any way to soften it up so the 2 parts can be used. If not no big deal I will just get new but what I have are still over 3/4 full and I hate to just throw it away. Any input is greatly appreciated

George The older I get, the better I was.

Microwave it for about 10-12 seconds. That should soften it up, but if you mix it warm, the cure time will be MUCH less. Once they've been nuked once, they tend to go downhill quickly . Epoxies have a shelf life of about a year and after that, it's just time to buy a new batch.

Put it in the microwave! Not the whole thing though, just the amounts you need. Try putting your equal amounts A & B on your mixing dish and nuke them for about 5-10 seconds, then mix together when they have softened. Time may vary depending on your microwave but start with 5 seconds. Joe

I have found that if you store the epoxy putty in the freezer they last a lot longer.

If you use snuff then just put it between yur cheek and gum. Keeps if soft and moist until you need it.
